Millington Hospital Almshouses
Millington Hospital provides almshouse accommodation for 39 venerable residents. The Trustees were keen to both generate solar PV income and reduce their carbon emissions.
Although situated in the Frankwell Conservation Area in Shrewsbury Salop Energy Commercial sensitively designed a 27kW Solar PV system. We used only the low rise roofs of newer buildings that wee out of view from the public highway.
Longmynd Adventure Camp
The Longmynd Adventure Camp (a registered charity) has provided respite
break accommodation for deserving children for more than 50 years. A
Marches Energy Agency renewable energy survey and escalating energy
bills convinced the Trustees to invest in three solar energy systems.
10 kW SHARP PV System - Glascoed Hall Farm, Powys
Salop Energy Commercial have recently undertaken the installation
of this impressive 10 kW SHARP photovoltaic system at a
farm estate in Powys.
