Sporting & Community Projects
Salop Energy Commercial has assisted numerous Community groups and Sporting Clubs throughout the region fulfil their carbon reduction ambitions.
Working closely with both treasurers and trustees from various organisations has allowed us to become aware exactly what is required during these committee lead processes.
It may seem a long road from initial concept to project completion, but with our help and expertise and your determination anything is possible!
There probably could not be two better examples of how this process has worked than the case studies telling the story of the amazing children’s charity ‘Longmynd Adventure Camp’, which is nestled up in the deepest South Shropshire hills or the Big Lottery funded Meole Brace Bowling Club based in Shrewsbury.
Both trustees worked tirelessly to achieve their goal of commissioning a renewable generator, and by doing so secured the energy future of their respective organisations for generations to come.
Other community projects in Shropshire we have been involved in are Upper Cound Guildhall, and Lythwood Road Sports Centre.
